Apo Hiking Society

Ang APO Hiking Society ay isang grupo ng mga mang-aawit na sumikat noong kalagitnaan ng dekada 1970. Isinaplaka nila ang awiting "Ang Nobya Kong Sexy" noong 1975 at ito ay isinapelikula nina Vic Vargas at Gloria Diaz bilang Sexy.

Unang nabuo ang grupo bilang Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society sa Ateneo de Manila high school noong 1969 at mayroong 15 miyembro. Kinuha ang pangalan ng grupo sa acronym ng kanilang paaralan, at ginamit ang pangalan ni Apolinario Mabini. Kinalaunan, pinaikli ito at tinawag na lamang na APO Hiking Society.

Nang magkolehiyo ang mga miyembro ng grupo, sumali si Danny Javier. Matapos ang kanilang pag-aaral, tanging sina Javier, Boboy Garovillo at Jim Paredes na lamang ang natira sa grupo.

Nakilala ang grupo sa kanilang musika na tinawag na OPM o original Pilipino music. Bukod sa pagiging mga mang-aawit, nagsimula ring magprodyus at mag-manage ng mga iba pang mang-aawit ang grupo. Nagkaroon na ng 27 na album ang grupo, sa kabila ng kanilang binalak na paghihiwalay noong 1978.

Opisyal na nagretiro bilang grupo ang APO noong 2010. Tumugtog sila sa kanilang concert noong ika-14 ng Pebrero, 2010. Sa kasalukuyan, may kanya kanya nang karera ang mga miyembro ng grupo. Si Paredes ay nagpatuloy sa pag-awit, habang si Garovillo ay isa nang artista sa pelikula at telebisyon. Tanging si Javier ang tuluyang nagretiro mula sa pag-arte at pag-awit.
