Isa sa mga Filipino alternative rock na banda ang Bamboo. Nabuo ito noong 2002 na kinabibilangan ng dating miyembro ng bandang Rivermaya na sina Francisco "Bamboo" Mañalac at Nathan Azarcon, at ng mga kasapi ng Passage Band na sina Ira Cruz at Vic Mercado.

Pagsisimula

Inilabas ng Bamboo ang kanilang unang album na As the Music Plays noong Pebrero 2004. Ito ay nanalo ng iba't ibang gantimpala sa Awit Awards, NU107 Rock Awards, at MTV Pilipinas 2004.

Ang kanilang pangalawang album, Light Peace Love ay inilabas noong 2005 at binubuo ng sampung kanta. Ang album na ito ay medyo iba ang estilo kaysa sa una nilang album.

We Stand Alone Together ang kanilang pangatlong album na inilabas sa taong 2007. Ang ilang kanta rito ay binuhay na awit ng Buklod at ni Paul Simon. Ito rin ay may bersiyong karaniwan sa mga kanta nilang sumikat sa nakaraang album tulad ng "Mr. Clay", "These Days", at "Hallelujah".

Ang Bamboo ay naging parte rin ng kampanya ng UNICEF, Days of Peace na kasama si Gary Valenciano. Nakipagsanib din sila sa MILF para magbigay ng serbisyo sa mga komunidad na laging apektado ng hidwaan sa Mindanao.
